Currently, Fort Hood has 40,820 soldiers.
July 8, 2015 Killeen Daily Herald reported how many soldiers at Fort Hood.
Fort Hood has about 39,000 troops and 4,600 civilians who work for the Department of the Army, officials said. Another 2,500 people work in the post’s schools, stores and other facilities.
See the problem with the fact that suicides at Fort Hood only went down by one?
Then take a look at the numbers from the release and do the math again.
Too bad the Army can't seem to do the same math or they'd figure out resilience training is FUBAR!

FORT HOOD — There were 15 suicides by active-duty Fort Hood soldiers in 2015, a slight decrease from the year before, post officials said Monday.
There were 17 suicides in 2014, which is more than double the six suicides in 2013. That had been the lowest number in years.
“The Army and we here at Fort Hood remain committed to the welfare of our soldiers and their families. Every suicide is one too many, and there remains more work to be done to support our soldiers who find themselves battling these challenges,” said Tom Rheinlander, Fort Hood’s director of public affairs. “III Corps and Fort Hood commanders’ top focus is to remain engaged leaders using our responsive programs to support each soldier and the family’s well-being.”
