Official Whine Of Congress--Don't Blame Us

Aside from the election being over a year away, most Americans are tired already.  When we hear them all say that government does not work, we wonder why they would want to work for it.  Then we wonder why they would want a job that paid so much less than it cost to get the job in the first place.

Then they get the job, whine about what isn't working, hold hearings to find out what happened, then they just do it all over again so they can hold more hearings.  You'd think after all this listening they would have learned something by now and managed to make sure that government actually did work.

A little group of willful men, representing no opinion but their own, have rendered the great government of the United States helpless and contemptible.
