Ron White never forgets fallen as he writes their names. He didn't have to memorize their names to memorialize them. He could have done what so many others have done and engraved them. Instead of that, he built a Wall and writes each and every name every time he sets it up.
Fort Hood: Unique Traveling Memorial Comes To Post
Our Town Texas

FORT HOOD (March 18, 2014) When Ron White came back from his deployment in Afghanistan, he knew he wanted to do something to honor everyone who was killed in action during the war.
White set out to create a memorial similar to the Vietnam memorial in Washington, D.C.
But the names aren’t engraved permanently on the traveling wall.
Instead the two-time USA Memory Champion decided he would memorize the names and ranks of the fallen troops and then write them on the wall each time he set it up.
The memorial includes the names of more than 1,000 fallen troops and it took him 10 months to memorize them before he was ready to display the wall.
Each time White sets up his memorial, he spends close to 11 hours writing the names of the fallen in the order in which they died.
