A Laredo women who is not only disabled but also a veteran will likely be out of house and home come early next year.
A county court has ruled Luxandra Vela has 90 days to get out of her north Laredo home.
Ms. Vela paid for the home in full years ago and believed she had paid all her taxes when she received a call the house had been sold.
It turns out there were about a thousand dollars in back taxes owed that Vela claims she knew nothing about until that notice of eviction.
