Photojournalist captures PTSD through his lens

Ashley Gilbertson is on a crusade to de-stigmatize PTSD for returning soldiers. While capturing images in Iraq, the photojournalist saw friends killed firsthand and felt the impact of returning home in that emotional state. It was that experience that led Gilbertson to the project he's most proud. "Bedrooms of the Fallen" immortalizes rooms of soldiers who passed to help people remember their lives before war.
