Fort Hood Soldier drowns in Lake Waco on Saturday

Fort Hood officials released Tuesday the name of a soldier who died of an apparent drowning at Lake Waco on Saturday in Waco.
Pfc. Jackson Cole Taylor-Smith, 21, of Kansas City, Mo., entered active duty service in April 2011 as an indirect fire infantryman.

SALADO — The body of a Fort Hood soldier was recovered Sunday afternoon from Stillhouse Hollow Lake, said Lt. Donnie Adams, Bell County Sheriff’s Department spokesman.
Christopher Kent Heinz was with a group of about nine other soldiers at River’s Bend Park off Farm-to-Market 2484, according to the sheriff’s department.
