Congressman Gus M. Bilirakis (R-FL) marked Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) Awareness Month on the House Floor, stressing the need to join together to tear down the stigma surrounding head injuries and ensure veterans have timely access to quality care, particularly in situations of Traumatic Brain Injury and PTSD.
"Today I rise in recognition of Post Traumatic Stress Awareness Month" and then goes right into talking about head injuries, which as you know are "traumatic brain injuries" and not PTSD.
If you think that is not a big deal, consider Congress funds everything being done so when you have someone in Congress giving a speech on PTSD with no clue what it is, that is a huge issue.
