Ceiling collapses inside Montgomery home, stunning Vietnam War veteran

Charles Roscoe was minding his own business Thursday when everything came crashing down on him.
The Vietnam veteran was relaxing in his den about 9 a.m. when the ceiling directly above the chair he was sitting in caved in on his head.
“It kind of knocked me senseless,” said Roscoe, who was not taken from the scene by ambulance but said he planned to go to a doctor’s office later in the day.
The disabled veteran with 21 years of military service is having work done on his house to accommodate the wheelchair he has to use.
