Former Navy Chaplain judged as he shall be judged

This is the type of Chaplain the Navy had?

This "man of God" quoted Romans,,,,,and that was all I needed to hear from him.

God’s Wrath Against Sinful Humanity

18 The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness,
19 since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them.
20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.
21 For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.
22 Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools
23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like a mortal human being and birds and animals and reptiles.
24 Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another.
25 They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.
26 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones.
27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.
28 Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done.
29 They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips,
30 slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents;
31 they have no understanding, no fidelity, no love, no mercy.
32 Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.

While God did not address any of this in the Ten Commandments, except "thou shall not commit adultery" and Christ talked about adultery, Paul is used to defend hatred of sinners. Imagine the shock and horror there must be from other Christians understanding that Paul was a screw up just like everyone else in the Bible with the exception of Christ and a close call for perfection was Mary. Paul was so convinced he was right that when his name was Saul, he traveled around hunting down Christians so they could be killed until Christ opened his eyes on the way to Damascus to find some more Christians he had pure hatred for.

Back then they also thought that birth defects and illnesses were all caused by sin. See the thing these deli-christians love to leave off their order of worthiness while picking only the parts they like is, adultery means anyone leaving their spouse and getting married to someone else while the first still lives, having sex with anyone they are not married to and, as Christ put it, had lust in their hearts.

Former Navy Chaplain On Newt Gingrich Gay Marriage Stance: 'Worthy Of Death'

A former Navy chaplain says that Newt Gingrich's stance on same-sex marriage was influenced by "demonic voices" and makes the former Republican presidential candidate "worthy of death."

Gingrich spoke about the issue of same-sex marriage during an interview with The Huffington Post in December. Although he defended his belief that marriage is between a man and a woman, the former House Speaker said the GOP needs to progress with the times.

"It is in every family. It is in every community," he told HuffPost. "The momentum is clearly now in the direction in finding some way to ... accommodate and deal with reality. And the reality is going to be that in a number of American states -- and it will be more after 2014 -- gay relationships will be legal, period."

I am sure this "chaplain" has degrees and I don't but I'd rather trust what God said when Christ came and spoke for Him instead of what man said they thought He meant.

As for me, the Bible proves that even screw ups can do some good in this world and God can even get miracles out of them. Had it not been for Paul, most gentiles would have never know how much God loved us and that Christ came to pay for our sins.
