Stop suffering in silence and get media involved

If you need one more reminder of suffering in silence, here it is.

No one can help you if they don't know what you are going through. The American people do care and there are also plenty of reporters that want to make sure veterans are treated right.

If you are not being treated right when you have an honest claim, contact your local media. If a reporter isn't interested in talking to you, find another. If you can't then get ahold of the editor. If that doesn't work, get ahold of the publisher. If they are still not interested, then go to TV news. Keep fighting to have your story told if not for yourself then do it for others. If it is happening to you, it is happening to others as well and they might not be as brave as you are to fight back.

Bill Sonntag's claim was no less valid when he was being denied. Yet once the media got ahold of the story, the VA admitted it was all a mistake. They didn't before a reporter told his story.

After over 17,000 post on this blog it is clear that the suffering does not change with a reporter being interested, but the outcome does.
