DA: Wounded Iraq vet mugged for telling men to stop urinating

A wounded U.S. Army veteran fed up with a man urinating on a Beacon Hill street was attacked for telling him to cut it out and suffered a broken nose, a broken bone in his hand and cuts on his face for speaking up, officials said today.
The Suffolk District Attorney’s Office said James Plunkett, 26, was arrested and arraigned today on charges of assault and battery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon — a shod foot — for allegedly jumping the vet.
Judge Lawrence E. McCormick set bail at $1,000 and ordered Plunkett to stay away from and have no contact with his victim.
