Fla. Department of Veterans Affairs uses new look to help vets

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- To bring a new awareness to veterans and their situations, the The Florida Department of Veterans Affairs has unveiled a new logo and a new approach.
A statewide mulitmedia campaign began Wednesday to help connect Florida veterans with federal and state benefits and services, according to a release from the Department of Veterans Affairs.
The outreach campaign aims to utilize traditional newspaper ads and displays as well as a new website and smart phone apps to accommodate Florida's large veteran demographic, which includes vets from World War II, Vietnam, and more, as well as those returning from Iraq and Afghanistan.
