On "Gator Boys" (Sun., 9 p.m. EST on Animal Planet) Sunday night Paul Bedard and Jimmy Riffle helped make a wounded veteran's dream come true.

Todd Love, Corporal USMC, lost both his legs and his left arm in an IED explosion in Afghanistan in October 2010.

  2. Thank you for reminding me of whats really important. My dad fouhgt in two wars he is 74 now and still working, I'm always amazed by him. He has always been my Hero, now you stand next to my father. I was hurt at work 5 surgeries later waiting to see if I need another. It's easy to fall in to a pit. You are my life preserver.

  3. Thank you for sharing that. Life does get hard for all of us and when we see other people walking around as if they don't have a problem in the world, it makes us wonder "why not us" when we are suffering from something. We may even begin to think God did it to us or we "deserved it" somehow but when you notice all the good coming to you when you reach out, you know that isn't true. God didn't do it to you but sends people to help you get through it. Knowing that changes the world for all of us. When we reach out afterwards to help someone else, then we discover what true bliss is. It is not the lack of suffering, it comes from surviving it and understanding what others are going through enough to know how much even kind words will help them too.

  4. Some people lose use of an arm or arms, and/or a leg or legs, and feel life is over. Some people with all four limbs in tact wrestle and/or rescue alligators at great risk to themselves. To wrestle alligators with one limb and with such incredible determination is so inspirational to all of us lucky to have four working arms and legs. It also means that the number of limbs you have does not equate to who you are -- and your bravery/insanity in challenging alligators!! Thanks for giving the rest of us such inspiration. If you can do such
incredible things with such frightening creatures, we should be able to get through our mundane days. Strength, peace and courage be with you!
