Wounded veteran gets new home, furniture

THE WOODLANDS, Texas – A group called Helping A Hero gave a wounded veteran a new home Monday in The Woodlands.
Specialist Hunter Levine was rolling in his Humvee on the roads of Baghdad, when a roadside bomb tore through the truck and his face, taking his eyes.
“It is one of those things that is just staring you right in the face and you still can’t believe it,” Levine said.
Helping a Hero gave Levine a brand new furnished home.
“We are so excited because this is the opportunity for him to start his future and start his new life,” said Merideth Iler, the chair of HelpingaHero.org.
