Marine Killed, 2 Hurt When Car Hits Formation Run

YORKTOWN, Va. -- A Marine was killed and two others injured Tuesday morning when a vehicle struck them during a formation run at Yorktown Naval Weapons Station, the Navy said.
The accident happened at 6:45 a.m. on Halstead Road. The Marines are part of the Anti-Terrorism Security Team (FAST) Company, Marine Security Force Regiment, based at the weapons station.
