Fort Bliss soldier dies: Noncombat incident in Qatar investigated

A Fort Bliss soldier who died in Qatar on Monday was described as being full of life, a car-racing fan, an animal lover and a romantic who deeply loved his wife.
Chief Warrant Officer James B. Wilke, 38, of Ione, Calif., died in Doha in what was described as a noncombat death. The cause of death is still being investigated, according to Army officials.
"We don't know for sure what happened," said his wife, Monia.
He was the first Fort Bliss soldier to die overseas this year, post officials said.
