The parents of missing U.S. soldier Noah Pippin are desperate to find their son, who was last seen in the Flathead Valley back in August.

Some new details are coming out as to why they believe he wasn't alone when he disappeared.

Noah was last seen in August. He grew up in Michigan and completed three combat tours in Iraq, and was driving home to Michigan before preparing to deploy again to Afghanistan.

Flathead County Sheriff's Department Detective Pat Walsh tracked him as far as a Hungry Horse hotel. They also traced a notebook with directions to an area just outside Glacier National Park.

Mike Pippen, Noah's father, says after Montana's News Station first aired the story in November, he received an anonymous tip from someone in Missoula claiming they saw Noah outside a bar with a woman.

If you have any information that may help authorities, or have seen Noah Pippin, call Mike Pippin at 231-883-1445 or Flathead County Detective Pat Walsh at 406-758-5600.

  3. No, Chaplain. So far no new news about Noah. We (Noah's mother and father) will be joining one of his brothers early June to search the isolated Blue Lakes area just south of Glacier National Park and Missoula and Kallispel. Snow should be melted by then so we can get in there. Continuing to pray that God, who knows where Noah is, will connect us with him or knowledge about him. Choosing to believe Noah is alive until/unless we find evidence to the contrary.

  4. It must be very hard on all of you. There is a saying that "God only gives you what you can handle" but that saying is wrong. That would mean God has done this to you. The saying should really be "God gives us what we need to get through it" no matter what it is. He has given you strength and people who care. Lean on them and ask them for whatever help you need, even if it is just a shoulder to cry on. I pray your search ends soon and maybe even a miracle happens that he is still alive. Stranger things have happened before.
