Federal Investigation Begins Into Missouri VA Center

(St. Louis, MO) -- The U.S. Secretary of Veterans Affairs will discuss conditions at a St. Louis VA hospital this week.

Members of Congress are hoping to get answers about the the John Cochran VA Center.

The Department of Veterans says John Cochran is the worst VA hospital in America in some areas, and among the very worst in many others.

    I have infection in both lower legs from the Cochran Hospital. I don't know what to do about it. They just told me to go home and take some antibiotics... Does anyone out there have any advice? I can't afford to go to a hospital that is not a VA. William Hauschildt. tllnya@yahoo.com

    Senator Claire McCaskill has staff to help veterans, as do most senators. I suggest you contact her office for help. It is terrible that when a VA hospital fails at taking care of veterans, no one finds you to make sure they make it right.
