A soldier from Fort Hood, Texas, who was home on leave from Afghanistan died Sunday after he was shot at a club in Spring Lake, N.C., just outside Fort Bragg, officials said Tuesday.
Spc. Charles Corrothers Clements, 27, of Baltimore was assigned to 1st Battalion, 6th Field Artillery Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division.

It is very sad how Charles life was just taken away.I am the mother of his five your old son.It sickens me to know that the person who shot Charles is still out on the streets.From day to day its vary hard do deal with my son asking when is charles going to call him or when is charles going to wake up from sleeping.Is just too much to bare.R.I.P Charles

ReplyDeleteI hate this sick rotten World.I want to share my condolence with you,dear shell.Don't think that you only lost Charles.It is a loss for the entire humanity,because helpful,polite,willing to protect and defend and care about other people are rare in our modern times.I am sure his soul is in Paradise now,who else,if not him would go to paradise?I understand how weak and defenceless you feel yourself.I want to wish you and your son health,good luck,happiness(if it is possible for you to be happy while knowing charles can not stand by you anymore) and strength just to raise up your son as a brave,fearless and dignified person just as charles was (and is).
