Disabled veteran robbed, left unconscious
TAMPA -- A 53-year-old disabled war veteran was knocked unconscious and robbed as he left a Citgo gas station after cashing in his Lotto ticket, Tampa police say.
Police arrested 22-year-old Tyron Debaron Williams today and charged him with the robbery that took place at 8:15 p.m. Sunday at 9911 N Nebraska Ave.
Dennis Lynn Gregory suffered serious head injuries after being knocked down, and his wallet was stolen.
