Blood donors are needed to boost dwindling supplies, officials from Florida's Blood Centers said Thursday. The blood bank, which provides blood to 70 hospitals in 21 counties, is down to a one-day supply for many types. Donors must be at least 16 years old and weigh at least 102 pounds.
