Ending a five-day manhunt for shooting suspect Skip Brinkley, a law enforcement official confirmed Wednesday afternoon that a body has been found in a ravine on Brinkley's property on Fox Winkler Road. The official said the body is Brinkley's and that he apparently died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Brinkley allegedly shot and killed Caldwell County Sheriff's Office Deputy Adam Klutz and wounded Lt. Chris Martin last Friday night.
