Lawsuit alleges abuse at Greek Orthodox Church

CHICAGO - A former altar boy in a Chicago-area Greek Orthodox Church contends a priest sexually abused him in the 1970s and church officials covered it up. The lawsuit filed Tuesday claims a man identified in court papers as "John Doe 124" was abused as a teen by Reverend Nicholas E. Katinas (kuh-TEE'-nas).
