Body recovered from water near NC Marine base

CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. (AP) - The body believed to be a missing civilian employee at a North Carolina Marine Corps base has been found in a coastal river bordering the base.
Camp Lejeune spokesman Maj. Nat Fahy said Thursday the body was found by searchers in a shallow area of the New River. The body was taken to Onslow Memorial Hospital for identification. The missing person has not been identified.
