FORT BRAGG, N.C. — The military said Wednesday that investigators are looking into a wreck that killed three soldiers and injured two others over the weekend.
The wreck happened 10:25 p.m. Sunday, Fort Bragg said in a statement, but other details of the crash weren’t released.
The Army identified the dead as
Pfc. Shelly Monique Brown, 19, of Jackson, Miss.;
Pfc. Desmond Morrisette, 19, of Loxley, Ala.; and
Pfc. Alexander Llewelyn Thomas, 18, of St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands.
The two injured soldiers were
Spc. Kern Kevon Barrow, 24, of Tobago and
Pfc. Tashara Nicole Bell, 19, of Chesapeake, Va.
The soldiers involved in the accident were members of the 108th Air Defense Artillery Brigade. The unit is equipped with Patriot missiles and was moved to Fort Bragg from Fort Bliss, Texas.
