BRADENTON -
A Bradenton man was arrested on a DUI charge after he rammed into the passenger side of a stopped Bradenton Police Department patrol car at about 10 a.m. Wednesday.
William J. Hoppes, 54, was likely intoxicated when his Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck veered across the roadway and smacked the right front side of the patrol car, pushing it about 10 feet, the Bradenton Police Department said.
