Dozens of drug dealers and thugs broke down in tears, came to Jesus and swore off violence Saturday."I want to let you know that if you're a drug dealer in here, you just kill like the murderers, killing the community. It's not the white man that's killing you. It's the foolish Negroes just like you," bellowed Bishop Kelvin Cobaris of Empowerment Ministries Church in Pine Hills, which hosted two of the funerals for three victims of drug violence.Cobaris told the drug dealers and thugs to come forward to be saved. They joined hands, held one another and prayed."I'm sick of our community going to hell," Cobaris thundered. "I'm sick of our community burying boys."

Hundreds of people crowded into area churches to mourn Carlos Patterson, 16; Cedric Garrett Jr., 18; and Marcus Hayes, 29. They were shot execution-style July 30 at the troubled The Palms Apartments next to the complex playground.
