3 Pa. guardsmen charged in sexual assault

FORT INDIANTOWN GAP, Pa. — Three Pennsylvania National Guard soldiers were charged with sexually assaulting a woman they met at a bar during an encounter inside a barracks building late last year.
Police said a 36-year-old woman went to the Fort Indiantown Gap base with the men voluntarily after meeting them at a Jonestown tavern Dec. 15. Authorities said in court papers filed Wednesday that she told investigators she initially engaged in consensual sex with one of the men but objected when a second man appeared before her and exposed himself.
She was then forced to engage in various sexual acts with the three defendants, and a cellular phone was used to photograph her, police said. The victim said she suffered cuts, bruises, scratches and other injuries.
