Deputy jailed for using Taser on wife

TAMPA — A Hillsborough County sheriff's deputy is being held for a mental evaluation after authorities say he used a Taser on his wife.
Thirty-eight-year-old Carlos Thomas Tanner is a 10-year veteran of the department. He remained behind bars Tuesday at Orient Road Jail.
