BURLINGTON - — A Burlington bike accident has put a Windsor woman at odds with state police. Betty Sribnik says the injuries sustained by her husband June 25 — which included a fractured skull, nine broken ribs and a punctured lung — were far too severe to be the result of a fall. But the town's resident state trooper says there is nothing to indicate the injuries were caused by anything but a fall.
Fred Sribnik, 68, died Tuesday, when his family decided to take him off life support. He had been in a coma in the intensive care unit at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, where he was taken after the crash. The accident happened at about 1:40 p.m. on Route 179 near Sand Brook Hill, according to police. Sribnik's wife said her husband was on the return leg of a 30-mile ride when he fell.

He was going up hill on a bike not a motorcycle. How did he get all these injuries?
