Fort Bragg soldier dies from injuries in Afghanistan

FORT BRAGG, N.C. (AP) -- Military officials say a soldier based at Fort Bragg has died from non-combat related injuries.
A statement from the post on Monday said 20-year-old Pvt. Matthew Warren Brown died Sunday morning in Asadabad, Afghanistan. Brown's death is under investigation.
The Zelienople, Pa., native, deployed to Afghanistan last December.
A memorial service for Brown was held in Afghanistan.
Brown was assigned to Charlie Battery, 3rd Battalion, 321st Field Artillery Regiment, 18th Fires Brigade.
