Missing Marine seen on ATM video

ESCONDIDO – A local Marine who went missing last week along with her new husband, also a Marine, has been spotted on an ATM surveillance video in Kansas, it was reported Monday.

Camp Pendleton-based Lance Cpl. Margaret McMahon-Reid, 20, and her husband, Miramar-based Pfc. George Reid II, 22.Camp Pendleton-based Lance Cpl. Margaret McMahon-Reid, 20, and her husband, Miramar-based Pfc. George Reid II, 22, were declared by their respective commands Tuesday morning to be absent without authority.
Additionally, McMahon-Reid's mother filed a missing persons report with the Escondido Police Department, said Marine 2nd Lt. Gregory Wolf, a Camp Pendleton spokesman.
Escondido police, who were notified because the couple live in Escondido, turned the investigation to the military after McMahon-Reid was spotted on an ATM surveillance video in Kansas over the weekend, CBS News 8 reported.
