Veteran Suicides, PTSD, and Election 08': DOES AMERICA CARE?

This is terrible. Our elected leaders need to start doing more to help those who have served their country. I hope that the American people will rise up and contact congress to do better.
It was terrible in the 70's when they came home from Vietnam. It was worse in the 80's when they needed more help and couldn't get it. Then in the 90's it got worse because the Gulf War vets were coming home and no one took care of them either. Could we have expected anything more for this new generation of wounded? They have no problem finding the money suddenly to pay for war but never seem to find the money for the warriors. The one spot of light is that they cannot get away with this now. Not with the net and people across the country finding out about what really goes on.
